Audra Signs Publishing Deal w/ Jimmy Mattingly and Johnny Garcia

Singer-Songwriter Audra McLaughlin inks co-publishing deal with industry veterans Jimmy Mattingly and Johnny Garcia.

McLaughlin grew to national fame as a member of Team Blake on season 6 of NBC’s “The Voice,” and later went on to join the NASCAR band for a two-year tour across the U.S.

The Glenolden, Pennsylvania native moved to Nashville in late 2017 following vocal surgery and rehabilitation stemming from a cyst on her vocal chord. During her recovery process, she began working with vocal coach Kati Hendricks, who would later connect her with  Jimmy Mattingly in 2019.

“I moved to Nashville on a whim…I never thought that I would meet some of the most talented musicians in the music industry. I have been such a huge fan of Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks for as long as I can remember. I never thought in a million years that their right-hand men would take a chance on me. I feel so blessed that they believed in me enough to work with me. I thank my parents for believing in me so much to encourage me to move to Nashville and follow my dreams.” -Audra McLaughlin
